Refund Policy

This policy explains when and how you can get a refund. Twiinix is a trade name of Anand R Nair, Trivandrum, Kerala, India.
1. NinjaSaaS (sold via Gumroad)
NinjaSaaS is sold through Gumroad. Gumroad is the merchant of record, which means Gumroad takes payment, handles taxes, and processes refunds according to its own policies.
- To request a refund, use the refund process Gumroad exposes in your order email and in your Gumroad library. Gumroad's current rules apply — see Gumroad's refund policy.
- I generally honour refund requests for NinjaSaaS within 14 days of purchase if you have not made substantial use of the codebase (for example, you opened it, found it wasn't what you needed, and asked promptly). Because the product is source code delivered as a download, once you've integrated it into a production project I can't meaningfully "take it back".

2. Custom development services
Services engagements run under a signed statement of work (SOW). The SOW controls refunds and cancellations for that engagement. As a default, where the SOW is silent:
- Upfront deposits are non-refundable once work has started, to cover the time already blocked out for you.
- Milestone payments are non-refundable after the milestone has been delivered and accepted (or deemed accepted per the SOW).
- If I cannot deliver a milestone for reasons attributable to me, I will either complete the work, reduce the fee pro rata, or refund the portion that corresponds to work not yet done.
3. Your statutory rights
Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights under local law. In particular:
- EU / UK consumers: you may have a 14-day withdrawal right for digital services bought online, which you may lose if you expressly agree to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge the loss of the withdrawal right (Gumroad typically asks you to do this at checkout).
- Indian consumers: consumer protection law may give you rights that override this policy.
- California residents: your rights under California law continue to apply.
4. Chargebacks
Please email me before disputing a charge with your bank. Most refund-worthy situations are faster to resolve directly.
